I’m seeking sun after a whopping 16 inches of snow in one storm left broken trees all around town. For a few days everything is cold, but sparkling and beautiful.

Weatherman says it will be slush by the end of the week, which is okay with me. My favorite way to do winter is to have a great storm followed by days of sunshine. I live in the perfect place for that, since we get about 60 inches of snow a year AND about 225 annual sunny days.

Which, of course, is great for painting.
