Behind on deadlines, behind on winter-yard preparation, craving creating time… We’re nearly recovered from a little bout of sickness that started several days ago. (Or weeks? It feels like so long! With a houseful of people these things can sometimes linger and reoccur for what feels like forever.) The art above is a little WIP I meant to have finished last week, so I’m spending today catching up. Oh! and enjoying the latest issue of Sprout Magazine! Perfect post-recovery inspiration and an awesome kick-start for a powerful new week! My baby Chloe has been coughing the last 2 weeks too, and it’s now getting quite serious today. So I think we’ll have to see a doctor.

Denice, they are so wonderful and lovely! I love the colors, the outlines, the mixed media and of course the wrapped twig! Will there be any little birdies added to the mix? Perhaps with some fabric and sewn bits? Can’t wait to see it all finished. Sorry you’ve had the sickies, we’ve been sick here too constantly since school started in September – yay for the first year of kindergarten germs (again.)
